Gee.  Neither ever stopped you clowns before.

Quote:The preaching of the First Crusade inspired an outbreak of anti-Jewish violence. In parts of France and Germany, Jews were perceived as just as much an enemy as Muslims: they were held responsible for the crucifixion, and they were more immediately visible than the distant Muslims. Many people wondered why they should travel thousands of miles to fight non-believers when there were already non-believers closer to home

It kinda does... Their is a whole rule book to being 'Christian' if one does not follow the rule book, then how can one say he is Christian?

Can I be Atheist and believe in God? No?!?! why not? Oh, your right! their are rules to being an Atheist the primary being one can not believe in God, if he is to claim the title Atheist.

Like wise if their is no command to kill Jews, infact their is a probation on killing in general, then to kill would put one outside the 'rules' of being a bible based Christian. And isn't that what we are talking about in this thread? The followers of the God of Abraham?

They are following the rule book. That's why "true christian" is such a useless term. You can find parts of the bible that justify anything, and it's such a contradictory mess of writings that it's practically impossible to follow the entire thing front to back. that's why you have schisms. Different people following different parts of the bible breaking off because they can't agree on which is more important.

There are lots of commands to kill. Jesus even suggested killing at least once, and made clear at one point that he isn't here to bring peace, but a sword. To tear families apart. That leads to one of the big contradiction in the NT. at one point he said if you hate your brother you're a murderer, and murderers don't get into heaven. But he also says if you don't hate yourself and your family you're not worthy of him.

Are housing regulations and traffic laws an affront to God then? Is any law not established in the bible blasphemous? Was God upset to see slavery abolished?

The Bible is pretty clear about executing blasphemers, the Hebrew tribe established those laws and then the Christians used the same laws to justify persecution of the Jews, the Church judged the entire Hebrew race as the enemy of God, the ones who betrayed Christ to his death.
The efforts of the Christians to destroy the Jews are justified by Biblical law, they were blasphemers by the doctrine of Christianity, it isn't against God at all, God set those laws in the first place.

And it certainly wasn't just France and Germany persecuting the Jews in the name of Jesus:

A timeline of Jewish persecution in the Common Era:

English persecution of the Jews:

A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

You kill one Christ and you get dubbed "Christ Killer" forever.

Not fair, but there it is.
