Just as referring to others critical of your opinion as "D-bags" simply for being critical does the same thing.
Indeed, my use of the word 'd-bag' was to bait the water in a hebdo fashion. The greater point being that no one likes to a bully even if it is in the name of satire when they are the ones in the cross hairs. even 'd-bags'

In what sense was your post satire "in a hebdo fashion"? Do you even know what the word means?

Hebdo fashion satire= mean spirited look at a person or group of people who do not meet my/hebdo standard of self righteousness, and therefore by the standard of hebdo, can be be made fun of in such away as to be 'blasphmously' of offensive to said group, and when called on said bulling, cry out for my right to 'freedom of speech.'

I assume you don't have a problem with freedom of speech, right? If not, then what's the problem with what Hebdo does? You don't give a shit about PC sensibilities, so why pretend you're sympathetic to a group of apostates like the Catholics just because they got their feelings hurt?

Yeah, your "d-bag" insult was every bit as witty and as intelligent as Charlie Hebdo
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Anyone can be made fun of; that's not a "standard of hebdo", numbnuts - that's the definition of freedom of speech. I understand that people, who believe in stupid stuff without evidence, would like to be the exception, protected from deserved ridicule, but get it into your thick heads - you are not "special". Your dumb beliefs can be made fun of, just like any other beliefs. It doesn't matter if you call it "sacrilege", or "blasphemy" - those terms only mean anything to believers and are part of the beliefs, which are being made fun of.
Hey - religious people are free to publish their own satirical magazines, aimed at whatever they like - that's free speech for you. Except creating satire requires sense of humor and that's dependent on intelligence - which is why religious people don't do that... It seems that the godless have been blessed with all the intelligence, talent and creativity - go figure. All religious people are good at is passive aggression... and regular aggression, I guess.

Yes, Yes sport very nice, you proved my point and given one or two more interactions with me you might be able to see the full point i was trying to make on your own.
here's a short cut:
The OP pisses and moans about the church speaking out "Freely" about C/H satirical criticisms.
I in C/H fashion make a satirical criticism about those who criticize the R/C church for excersing their free speech.
The d-bags in this thread bock at being criticized, citing their 'free speech.'
Then I point out the church is doing the same, that they (the d-bags) are doing, and get to point out the hyprocrisy of the d-bags who criticize the church for doing the very same thing the church is doing. (which makes them d-bags to begin with)
then I (and the non d-bags) get a good laugh.
Stimbo called me out on what i was doing right way, and I owned up to it. Yet.. the plan still worked for some reason...
