Damned shame about these protestant pervs.
Not as many as the Catholics it seems. How anyone in Ireland can justify remaining Catholic is beyond me. If you wonder what a Catholic theocracy would look like, just look at Ireland and it's history from around 1920-1990 or so. Up until then it seemed every other priest was a pedophile, no joke!
Protestant religions have an equally large problem of clergy sexual violations. But because Protestants are more decentralized than the Catholic Church, violations are more easily hidden or violators transferred to another church.
Here's for instance also recent news: Pastor impregnates 7 church members, 2 married women http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/re...men-413768 As in the crime of rape, clergy sexual abuse is more about power than sex. Ministers in churches clearly put themselves in an alpha male role within the social structure. They have total control over who serves on the board and the budget. As the alpha male, the minister tends to attract a high proportion of females to males. The sex ratio in these churches is female dominated, as high as 60/40, and even higher in some. Within this context, the alpha male has groupies, like a rock band; females who work hard to get close to the alpha male by working on committees, volunteering, etc. The high-status male is sexually attractive to the females, which gives him the opportunity to choose the most desirable among his followers.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
Evangelical pastor, Reverend Howard Curtis, 'administered spiritual discipline by spanking the bare bottoms of female congregation members'
Self-style reverend is said to have run evangelical church 'like a cult' He is accused of spanking the bare bottoms of a number of women He is also accused of child cruelty for children's punishments The 73-year-old denies the offences and is currently on trial http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-...mbers.html

LOL. For a few minutes I though this was an Onion article.

Just another freelance fucking, murdering, baptist scumbag preacher. You see this every day it seems.

Seems like having a married mistress is even a little further into adultery than what Jesus had in mind in Mark 10:11.
However, since today's Christians (even the Catholics apparently) are moving the goal posts on divorce and remarriage (get in line there Jesus, they're changing your religion again) I'd say they are resetting affiliated peccadilloes back a notch or 2 also, Damn those backsliding slacker Christians, proving their own slippery slope argument again. grumble grumble grumble, never shudda let women on the rag in church, look where that got us now grumble grumble grumble The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

King of Kings Church, Omaha, is advertising a special Easter service at the new Baxter Arena.
http://s2.quickmeme.com/img/85/853bf82d8...1bcf26.jpg The TV commercials (apparently not on the webpage though) SPECIFICALLY note (their?) God is ETERNAL AND UNCHANGING Doesn't this negate Jesus and his ministry ?? Jebus changed all kinds of shit, what's up with this heresy ?? On the other hand, if this is a heads up they are taking all 600+ no nos in Leviticus seriously now, this could be an event I might want to attend. Watching the bouncers screen out all the menstruating women from those wanting to attend will be quite a sight !! The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
