Nevermind, I see that you are.

Here's the thing.

Law dictates that a parent cannot abandon a child who has not yet reached the age of eighteen. Oh, sure, parents act tough with their drama.

As long as you are under the age of eighteen, you not only have the law on your side but you also have an advantage.

Trump your parents.

Make them realize at this stage, while you still can, that you are who you are.

The major fear and problem with young people is only instilled by their parents. Fuck them. Learn that they hold no power over you even at that age. They cannot legally get rid of you.

They can't abandon you, worse, they can force you to stay and make your life completely miserable. If they aren't abusing you, I suggest keeping the peace.

It may make shit so much worse, im already extremely fed up.

The most I can do is ditch the house on sundays when I am forced to go church.

This is absolutely disgusting Sad

Putting religious shit ahead of the happiness of your own child. How can parents be so blind to the damage they are doing to the relationships with their children?

My parents paid a similar price. It wasn't religious abuse, but it was still abuse. They had every chance to stop, but they didn't, even when I was suicidal. Now they barely hear from me and I don't plan to ever see them again if I can help it.

Losty, bad woman.

If they aren't abusing him, he should abuse the peace.

He should make them see his point of view.

Legally, no parent is allowed to abandon or kick out a child (anyone under eighteen of age).

I don't see how my difference of opinion makes me a bad person. You say he should do one thing, I disagree. Decisions you make as a young adult (15-25) can affect your entire future. Parents have a huge part in that and they have the potential to serious screw things up for you (refusing to pay for college and/or sign for student loans). It's also not smart to poke a grizzly bear with the sharp end of a 3ft long stick.

RE: Ive lost all trust for my mom
Decisions make a person, indeed.

However, given the choice, the absolute choice, I will always choose going against my parents if it means I am right.

Parents are not always right.

How many of us have grown up with parents informing us of what we must do?

Fuck parents. Rather, rely upon one's self.
