That's exactly the sort of thing the disciples said happened. Several times.
No. That's the sort of thing we have third hand accounts which allege that the disciples said. A much different thing altogether. If you were told person a murdered person b by person c, who heard it off of person d, who said they overheard it in a pub, would you believe what you were just told? Because that is what you are saying we should believe.
And even if you found actual writings of an actual disciple stating same, that is still not evidence of Yeshua dying and then resurrecting, because a) a person's attestation is not evidence in and of itself, and b) ancient Hebrews knew so little of medicine or biology that you cannot rule out the idea that they thought Yeshua was dead when he was simply unconscious (erroneous declarations of death and accidental burials have been recorded as recently as the 1890's). Your acceptance on the unverified word of others is simply not enough.

That's not the argument. The argument is that the author of the earlier Mark did not state that his resurrection was ever witnessed by anyone. Now it's true that it suggests some would see him, but that may simply be a report of what was quoted by the women. We never get to know in this particular story if the disciples ever did see the risen Jesus.

Mark didn't know anything. Mark (if he wasn't just plain writing fiction) heard stories, which either didn't include any evidence of a resurrected Jesus, or he felt it wasn't worth mentioning.
Much more likey, it was a story. Maybe a story loosely based on rumours of a real person. The proper ending is a nice literary cliffhanger. The sore-thumb extra forgery ending was someone wiping a class A turd on his story.

And, if it is just a story - which seems likely - then all the other happy horseshit about disciples, and apostles and witnesses goes out the window too. Just chrome on the bumper of the tale...like Luke being Leia's brother!

Oh, thank you Mr Blow-The-Movie-For-Me!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

But he wins in the sequel against the same opponent. And someone important dies in part 3, another in part 4, and yet another in part 6. I'm so evil.

You forgot about the near-death experience of the entire franchise in part 5.

What part 5? No such thing.
