Even amongst creationists, how many people would pay to see plastic animals in cages when the zoo offer live ones for less? Not inside, they are going to on the outside. Their replica was not built to float either. It's just another amusement park. I would not pay the admission fee they're asking. But it's probably a standard rate for amusement parks.

Anyone who has ever been to the San Diego Safari Park (and others) might wonder why the ark is a couple orders of magnitude (at least) too small to do what it is claimed to have done.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
Most first cut amusement parks are $60-$70 now.
Aside from the petting zoo outside, this is going to be pretty boring for little kids/teens, for sure. Although I'd go see it if only to count the Bad Ad-Hoc Hypotheses. Also, if you are wanting to practice your debate skills, it would be a pretty good venue. I'm sure there are plenty of people there just waiting for a chance to save some souls. But I wouldn't pay $40 for that, or travel for it, for that matter. The Nashville Zoo is pretty freaking awesome, they even have a beer event once a month. It's only $16 for an adult.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

They plan to have elephants or giraffes? Municipal zoos are often free, most of them I've been to charge less than $50. RE: "Ark Encounter" Officially Open!

The closest equivalent to this ark, on the other hand, is perhaps madam tussaud's waxwork museum. Except madam Tussaud's probably didn't cost $100 million, and many more people would pay to see life like effigy of well known humans than well known animals.
I've been obsessively checking the yelp reviews for the thing, for some reason, and it's funny that the one 5 star review so far got filtered out
Nolite te bastardes carborundorum.
I wonder how carefully the animal models were vetted ??
Funny as hell if two of the same sex were in a display together . . . The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
