As for me, I'm chicken about everything. I kind of chickened out from attending an SDSU fan fest the other day because I wasn't sure about the restroom sitch (with SB, you gotta think about these things).

I get chicken about speaking at a public meeting.

I love public speaking. Oddly, I'm more chicken to socialize with groups of two or more, than to speak into a mic.

Speaking in front of a large crowd.

Fuck that.

I once had to apologize to 500 fundies with a microphone and confess my fornication sin. Heh. Public speaking is officially a piece of cake for me. Show up with three of your friends to dinner, and chicken Ivy.

It's ok if this thread dies quickly. I just wanted to throw it out there. Dude, I'm chicken.

I can't imagine for one second that anyone would have anything but positive things to say about you.

As for what I'm too chicken - usually things about my private situation. At least on a public board.

As for not sharing with the board, I get that. There's the fact that you never have to meet these people you talk to online, sure, but then there's also your own preference about what you want to share.

Hmm, I don't know... I used to be somewhat pathetic in a lot of ways, but I've worked on building up my confidence a lot in the last few years. Not sure if these count but:

1) I'll always get away from physical conflict if possible rather than fighting (as long as I'm not leaving anyone else behind of course).

2) I refuse to go to certain countries which have a corrupt legal system, or for other scary reasons.

3) I'm a complete wuss with regard to physical pain.

4) I can't eat certain meat substitutes if they're too like the real thing. I can't eat egg either. They make me freak the hell out.

5) I, erm... I can't watch certain things because they make me cry too much, like The Snowman, The Snowdog, and many other things, particularly featuring animals. I cry quite easily.

6) I can't watch some horror movies, or medical stuff when they get too visceral. I'm too queasy. Blood makes me feel funny, I have to look away when I have blood tests and such.

7) I tend to chicken out of learning music if it's in a tricky key, unless I really have to. I prefer the easier ones (C, D, F, G) and I often transpose the notes rather than learn it properly in the intended key.

I don't see how solving mathematical problems in public places can turn one into a chicken. Unless you meant "mating" which is a lot more different than "mathing".
