Yeah, it made the news over here. It just didn't make the big headlines like Dwayne Wayne's cousin getting shot on the streets of southside Chicago or Colin Kaepernick not standing for the national anthem. That's not surprising, though. I bet a large chunk of Americans would have a hard time finding Syria on the map.
What was surprising to me, though, was the lack of coverage of the child suicide bomber killing 50+ people at that wedding in Turkey, which is pretty much the reason Turkey has gotten off their ass in the first place. I guess a bunch of kids getting massacred here in the States isn't news if they're brown.
