I was one of those "emos" that was "emo" because it was fashionable to be "emo". It was 2007 to be fair.

Marilyn Manson is a bit further than grunge though, he's outright goth and really weird.
I was into the Marilyn Manson, Stabbing Westward, Nine Inch Nails, Tool vibe with a dash of Live, Candlebox, and Bush on the side. So, whatever that's called.

I hate emo guys. Emo girls can be kinda cool, though.

I think it's because I hate that shaggy medium-length hair on men. Grow it out really long (like past the shoulders long) or cut it short, but don't have it in between.

Nah, I hate that look, especially when they dye it blonde too. That's a pet peeve of mine, guys who dye their hair blonde.
I do like this guy's hair a lot, although his is nice and long;

It's weird because it's pretty much the only aspect of a guy's appearance I like extremes in. I like bald or very short hair, or long hair.
