Protestors and rioters, of all political descriptions, shouldn't be blocking roads or in some cases trying to pull drivers out of their vehicles.

And protestors should not be run over for simply blocking traffic. Pulling people out of cars is assault and not part of legitimate protests. And even these loons don't merit being run over - they merit arrest.

Having a group of people surrounding or blocking your car can be intimidating for some. While running them over may seem a little extreme, they shouldn't be allowed to block traffic either and sometimes people do what they have to do in situations like that.

One can always open up a map and pick another route, and even then, if blocking traffic is a headache, there are law agents to arrest or disperse the crowd, there's no reason for a random person to run over another person just cause they are blocking the way.

If that law states that you have the right to defend yourself then you're damn right I support it. I am a firm believer in relaxing gun and self defence laws here in the UK.

Sorry, you what? I should have to pick an alternative route because people are protesting? Fuck that. Police should be preventing people from blocking roads but they very rarely do.

I have no sympathy at all for any protestors who get run over or shot for intimidating innocent drivers and bystanders. Stay off the fucking roads and leave others out of it.

Tell that to the people who are being pulled out of their cars. Going after peaceful protesters and running them over is one thing, and should be prosecuted by the law. But if an out of control mob of riotous bastards surround MY truck with their clubs and Molotov cocktails, move out of the way. I'm not sticking around.

Protesters shouldn't be blocking traffic, either. There was an incident in the news a week or so back where protesters tried to block an ambulance from getting a person to the hospital.

A group protesting President Donald Trump apparently blocked an ambulance rushing to the hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, according to a report.

The ambulance was rushing a “critically ill” patient to Yale-New Haven hospital on Satuday, Patch.com reported.

Demonstrators “obstructed an ambulance carrying a critically ill patient,” the state police report read. “Due to this delay, ambulance personnel were required to perform an emergency medical procedure in the ambulance instead of at the hospital.”

According to the report, a protester stood in front of the ambulance’s path and refused to move when police told him to get out of the way.

Protesters said they wanted to make a statement, NBC Connecticut reported.

If that patient had died as a result of the protesters blocking the ambulance and even after the police told them to move away, shouldn't they be charged with murder?

I think we should have a strong police and National Guard presence whenever protests are organized. This way the demonstrators can actually have peaceful protests that doesn't deteriorate into mob violence that disrupts and terrorizes everything around them.

If they surround my vehicle with clubs and Molotov cocktails like we've been seeing from the anti-Trump rioters they better move out of the way too. I won't be sticking around to second guess their intentions.
