I don't see that as being clearly on the side of either.
No I mean how the Catholic church baptizes vs how the apostles actually baptized.

Baptism utilizing the trinitarian formula of 'Father', 'Son' and 'Holy Spirit', when Peter (whom the Catholic church claims as the first Pope) clearly baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. "Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I note at one point the Mormons were forced to issue a statement noting the Holy Ghost was NOT Mrs. God, or God's wife or anything female. Additionally, all other entities without corporeal form, in Mormonism, are deemed to be suffering a punishment, from God, EXCEPT the Holy Ghost. And they've had to point that out too.
Glad to help keep everyone up to speed on this. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?
--- There is no better way to convey the least amount of information in the greatest amount of words than to try explaining your religious views.

In the world of Chritianity, that is more than enough to schism over.
Heck, the Amish had a schism over the width of hat brims. (IANMTU) Schisms must be what Jesus had in mind, His followers do it seemingly every chance they get. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
