Yeah - my problem is that I can't keep my mouth shut and I often times say more than I intend to about my life.

I have a few secrets literally nobody knows but me. I'm good at keeping secrets, I've had plenty of people confide in me very personal information.

Nice! I've been there, and never revealed that information to anyone. I know people who appreciate that what they say to me goes no further. Good for you!

I used to have lots of people tell me secrets and I found that sometimes it could be a burden.
So now, when someone asks if I can keep a secret, I tell them that it depends on what the secret is and I can't make any guarantees.

I've had people tell me secrets in the past, only to find out that they've told everyone, under the premise that it is a secret.
I think this is a way of revealing information that you want people to know, but not talk about behind your back.
