It always amazes me how creationist morons will accept a common decent to a point but no further . As for the idea of a single cat kind then i kindly like on explain to me why in Egypt and India before the so called flood date already had depictions of loins, tigers , and house cats.
Quote:When people speak of the animal pairs that went into the ark they ALWAYS assume that it was a pair of the exact same animal and not a pair of the same species.Which leads to genetic bottle necks

Or why there was this explosion of speciation after presumably a long time during which the original ancestor species (“kind” or whatever) was apparently static. Need i also point out that the treasure ships of ancient china would have been vastly more advance then a ship in the early bronze age .
As for species the term in biology is far more complicated then a fucking dictionary post . https://evolution.berkeley.edu/evolibrar...species_01 This almost as sad as Ken Ham using this slide

400k is nothing. Feliform divergence began 30 million years ago..and the cat gap is why dogs exists as they are in the first place.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

The articles you cited do not suggest what you think they do at all. The geology of uplift in the Andes is interesting and geological views about it have shifted. If any of these changes had overturned modern science it would be screamed from the rooftops. Others have already explained why this is not the case. No evidence for a global flood there either, and no particularly strange results, other than then Andes formed faster than is geologically common. Because, reasons given. Marine life seen there, expected. Unless you are a conspiracy theorist. Not even sure why The Fludde is so important to you. There are plenty of intelligent Christians that accept it as allegory, I am fine with that. But a global flood did not happen in the last 5-10 thousand years; that's just nonsense.
Brace for the incredible shrinking deluge.......

We have treasure ships in England too..
Sutton Hoo. They were for burials not floating. And none of them have massive poo recycling systems or the ability to keep predators apart from their prey. Ahoy shipmates; Lots of gay animals back then I guess. But we know that's evil, coz an old book says so. In every generation, our knowledge of the world is limited to what we can perceive and measure; therefore, the scope of our perceptions and the accuracy of our measurements changes with every technological advance. It would be a betrayal of science itself to cling to old data and old theories, rather than revising them for new information. Which is why religion is doomed to fail in every real-world encounter with science -- it clings to ancient traditions rather than updating them for new facts. |
