There are no lies in the Bible, all truths.

Your post is a sign of a pathetic little child like person and I get no pleasure in letting you know you are, but what must be done must be.

You actually believe that every animal on the planet lived within walking distance of Noah's house?
Polar bears and Penguins, Lions and Kangaroos?
The meek shall inherit the Earth, the rest of us will fly to the stars.

Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups

Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling with a pig in mud ..... after a while you realise that the pig likes it!

Who wrote the four canon gospels?

Quite a few.
How many Christians are there again?

If by 'truth' you mean at complete odds with impartial observations and evidence based falsifiable theories obtained using the scientific method which has proven itself to be our best method for learning about reality ...

You may want to start reading this thread to see how the bible is incorrect.

Oh no, they got you too?  Don't believe the evolution deniers.

(October 20, 2017 at 1:10 am)AFTT47 Wrote: The OP is titled improperly.

Darwinian evolution is concerned ONLY with the evolution of simple life into more complex life. Darwinian evolution does not address the origin of life and most certainly does not in the slightest have anything to say about planetary age, planetary formation, stellar formation or the origin of the universe.

The general public makes this mistake frequently. That contributes to ignorance. People refuse to accept evolution as fact partly because they think it is making claims it does not. Poll numbers are skewed because people don't understand what evolution is. If you're trying to sell the public a complete, natural explanation of the universe, please don't call it Darwinian Evolution. Darwinian Evolution is just a component of our understanding of the universe. It's solid and reliable. It's a Volkswagen. Don't sell it as a Cadillac.

I think that while evolution accounts for the increased complexity of life forms over time, in fact evolution can favor either more complex or more simple at any point.  There is a barrier in the direction of simplicity beyond which life is unsustainable or unreproducible and naturally earliest life would have been just over that threshold.  But in general, more complex can mean more inflexibly adapted and in the face of catastrophic change the simpler generalist may have the advantage.

How many times must you repeat this in order to maintain your belief? Your earnestness is kind of cute. Pathetic sure, but also cute like a child.

When you learn to use the proper words for a proper discussion I might answer your questions.

In plain words, you know it's in the buy-bull, you know it's bullshit and you're too big a coward to admit it.

And, you have no fucking room to chide others on their word selection.

Isn't it amazing that he spouts off about learning truths then attempts to deny truths that the people who wrote his book couldn't have known?

Don't worry Jehanne... for posterity's sake, I repped you.

Still waiting for GC to answer my questions though. Amazing how he deflects when asked about things that would, if answered, most likely lead to a death by stoning, as his babble dictates it to be.

I am waiting on him, too, to see if he believes that the Earth goes about the Sun, or if he is a geocentrist.  Thanks for the rep increase!!
