Let's Talk About Books

So, I read an awful lot. I usually write a quick review of stuff I read for my blog http://crackedspine.blogspot.com/ In the course of giving it a makeover during the Snowpocalypse we're suffering here, I thought I'd share it here in case anyone wants to talk about some of the books I've read, books they've read, books they want to read or even books they'd like to see me review.
I'm currently re-reading IT by Stephen King, reading several books of poetry, a novel about Christmas emergencies by a local fireman and Sleeping Beauties by Stephen and Owen King.

Sleeping Beauties any good? I've been thinking about getting my hands on that one but the library hold list is pretty long.
I always have a few library e-books on my iPad.

oh, you really read a lot ... that's great!!!
I love books too, but recently I neglected them because of work ...
And now I read a book that I got for Christmas. The color of magic, Terry Pratchett ☺
I will write a review when I'm done 😛

I've never been much of a reader, even though I like books and type as art forms. I struggled in high school, and kind of want to read all those books, like Catcher in the Rye and whatever else, to see if I'd do better now. Last two books I read were Tales from Margaritaville and Letter to a Christian Nation, tbh.
Part of me wants to read that book by Sophia Chua-Rubenfeld, daughter of a "tiger mom", as I find parenting, and just plain family structures, fascinating, even though I am happily childless.

I'm enjoying it. I may finish it tonight. It's worth putting on hold for sure.

Ooooh, Terry Pratchett! Yeah, I've read so much more than I've managed to get up on the blog, but not as much as I want to. Being married makes me want to do things with my husband instead of reading in a corner.
c172, not everyone likes "Catcher in the Rye." I do personally, but I think you'd get a better idea at where you stand reading-wise if you picked something on a topic you were really into.

I usually juggle 2-3 books.

Me too. It allows me to keep them in different spots where I like to read. The kindle comes with me everywhere. Actual books stay in the nightstand and coffee table.
