Your hobbies/hobby ideas

RE: Your hobbies/hobby ideas
Making music. On a computer or I have a band I play bass for and they're fun to be around.

Health and fitness is a big hobby of mine. It really helps me physically and mentally. Probably my most precious hobby that i love the most. Mainly consisting of going crazy at the gym or going cycling.

I like drawing anime very rarely though, im not that good at it.

I love listening to podcasts. Watching films, reading, all that stuff.

I wish I had the patience to learn how to do more DIY stuff, ive always wanted to build a little model house. My dad is into model trains.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

I like making miniature landscapes.
I put sand in boxes and use driftwood and small shells to make a small beach.
My daughter's barbie doll makes great footprints.
I've also made parks with bonsai for trees, trimmed mondo grass for grass and small rocks for pathways.
The pond in my garden has a sandy island in the middle with a small shack, small cut shrubs made from little piles of birdseed that have grown out of their casings and a small bonsai on one of it's rocky outcrops.
On the side of the pond is a lighthouse with a stony path leading up to it from out of the garden.
There are also two waterfalls connected to my water tank.
And then there's a giant cat that likes to have a drink from time to time and also likes to fuck things up.

My other hobby is gardening and landscaping.
Growing plants from seed.
Making pots out of unused kitchen items, like a teapot or a large broken handled mug.
I'm in the process of collecting metal things to make a wind chime.

Hmmm... an american housewife looking for a hobby?
I like to play Mahjong, the real Mahjong that requires 4 players. You could get a set and invite over 3 friends and waste a whole day in it.
I can send you a PDF with the rules that a friend of mine wrote. There are many sets of rules. The ones I play with are usually called "Classical Chinese" (there's a computer game for windows, mac and linux that uses these rules and lets you play it online and/or against bots: http://mahjong.julianbradfield.org/), Tournaments are played with the official Chinese rules; there's Japanese Mahjong with only 2 winds and things called Dora... and many others!
In the early 20th century, many American housewives used to play this awesome game and I think they came up with a few rules of their own.

I have this set: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Jongg-deluxe-faux-leather-case/dp/B0029WN27K/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_21_bs_tr_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=B5BEK1B13B8VJ3GX58KG and all it needed was some extra counting sticks, for scoring.... because we're always trying to make high scoring games and the ones that come with the set soon become too few. (I got my extra sticks, here: http://www.hoylesonline.com/shop/product.asp?P_ID=441)

Anything to do with cats.

Stalking/peeping.

Yelling at people who text and drive.

Watching my lawn.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Another one? (I'm not radio active at the moment!)
The meek shall inherit the Earth, the rest of us will fly to the stars.

Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups

Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling with a pig in mud ..... after a while you realise that the pig likes it!
