Its Good to Be Here
#21
RE: Its Good to Be Here
Firstly, I love the weather.  I love that I can have breakfast in the wet subtropics, get in my car, eat a late lunch in the appalachian highlands......and be on the great lakes by breakfast the next morning.  Or that I can hit the east coast beaches and head west through the great plains, and then the painted desert...to catch a glimpse of the pacific at the other end.

Next, I love the fishing and hunting.  There is nowhere else in the world with so much accessible game. It's not even close.  You could add up other countries known for one or the other into a block and we still crush that.

Then...there's the food.  There's a reason that we're a bunch of chunky monkeys. The gulf coast, imo, is the tastiest place on the fuckin planet....and I've been around a bit.
(imma give new england an also ran here...because I really like waterbug)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

My country?

I like that it’s [CENSORED] and the [CENSORED] are [CENSORED]. In [CENSORED] which is [CENSORED]. It’s great.

And Guylian? Not Cadbury's?

Ever had fries with mayo?
It's my fave, though most often i take ketchup. It's my equivalent of going to macdo and ordering The largest meal and a water or a diet coke.

I like both. Just not at the same time.

Chips, black pudding and grey farters. The food of the gods, if they existed enough to have a preference.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I'll help.

2) Your country is currently airing the greatest, most interesting season of 'The apprentice' to date.

3) ... Uhm... What about... Ah... ... Giving us George Carlin?

I'll concede Carlin.

But, man, #2? Every day is a new, exciting fall into depravity, inanity, and madness. It's gotten really tiring.

I live in southern California, in one of the safest cities of its size. I have my health and my mental health. There's beer in the fridge, and I get enough to eat. And I dip my fries in Bob's Big Boy's bleu cheese dressing. Yummay!
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
