I have a question about religious parents

I lost family.  I lost a job because a Supervisor checked my browser history and found the Atheist Forums link.  (Sure, I shouldn't have checked it at work, but hey, the same Supervisor spent hours on Facebook and Pinterest and LinkedIn . . . THAT type of activity she would have forgiven.)
The kid sounds nervous and kind of stuck on a theme, but hey - "coming out" as an atheist is a big decision for a lot of folks.  And DA is still pretty young.

My parents never really talked about it after I left the church. I'm sure they found it less embarrassing when I didn't go at all vs me getting up and walking out and not returning.
