What beliefs would we consider reasonable for a self proclaimed Christian to hold?

Suffice to say that I am not interested in becoming a Christian.  Ever.

Sorry, I had no intention of mangling. I did space my reply out from yours. However, as I stated, Eve knew she was disobedient when she ate fruit from the tree she was told not to eat.

[A bunch of stuff mixed in with what Astreja said.]

Hey man. To quote people point by point write:

Code:
[quote] The text you want to quote from someone else. Then write: [/quote]

Put your own comments outside the quote thingies. That way, it's clear who said what.

Who, me?  Because I happen to be female?  Rolleyes

Um, no.  I had a bright pink room when I was a pre-teenager -- fifty years ago.  I regularly shop in the men's section to avoid some of the more insipid colours to be found in women's wear.

It's pretty funny how they think they're selling their religion here, but they're actually just making it sound worse.

Yup.  If I had any doubts before, I certainly know better now than to taste any of the koolaid they're passing around.

Yeah, but there's something to be said for politely explaining the merits of an alternative beverage.

EDIT: Meaning an alternative to the kool aid, since that wasn't clear...
