The Rights disdain of Hillary, where does it come from?

Go ahead and finish your thought.

She won the popular vote (leading by around 3 million votes). You said she didn't have any redeeming qualities, and yet the majority of voters must have thought differently. I think what's happening here is simply that you don't like the woman (that's alright, it's not like I'm the biggest fan of her), and you rationalize this by arguing she had no redeeming qualities, when she wasn't worse in terms of policies or personality than her husband or the previous two POTUSes.

Must they have?  Do you have to think positively of someone to vote for them over Donald Trump in a 2 party system?
Her policies were certainly a blend of the previous 3 presidents.  I don't think 'more of the same' served her well.  And her personality?  You are speaking the crazy.  Bill/W/Obama all were charming as hell.  They still are.  Bill seems to have done some raping, but he's so charming, people still like him.  W broke the country, but people still find him endearing.
She was a robot status quo.

Libertarian God Wrote:I could somewhat understand this during the election. However, it seems they are just downright afraid of this woman. And now that she has lost they insist on piling on her loss. For instance, I was listening to a Conservative talk show on my way to class the other morning. The host was amused that she had fallen down a flight of stairs while in India. He then stated how this was the reason she didn't win because she was somehow physically unfit. But Trump is totally an iron man, right?

I just would like to know where this hatred comes from. I don't consider myself a Hillary fan, in fact I think she's just another politician and lies. However, I don't think she's somehow Satan like many on the right feel.

Again, where does this come from? What did she do? I can see why people hate Trump, because he practically deserves the dislike he receives.

I think they saw her coming a mile away as someone developing into a viable candidate for president, and kept the vilification machine going even when she wasn't in the spotlight. Now they don't know how to stop. I mean, she runs a pedophile ring, you can't just let that go....

It's really hard to discern that he was pointing out that most voters disagreed with your assessment, so I get why you need it spelled out.

Won't work in the Rust Belt and Coal States. Dems will probably have to put up more moderate candidates like Lamb and Manchin if they hope to win back the voters there. The more left leaning candidates will do better in the coastal states like California and New York.

If the Lamb guy keeps his word, and is willing to negotiate like Manchin, maybe a slew of guys like that is just what the country needs.

My guess is Trump would much rather work with moderate democrats than the fringe right when it comes to healthcare/border/economy/etc...

We've got the Paul Ryan block coming up with a plan, and then they need some other group to come on board.  Since dems won't play at all, they have to make concessions to the crazy right.  I'd love to see them neutered by a centrist group willing to do some give and take.

There isn't much left to give..and even less than that to take, is the problem.   What are these "centrist" dems going to give, and what exactly do you think they'd extract for it?

Lamb does't want a gun ban.  He doesn't want single payer.  He will vote yay on trumps trade and tariffs.  Seems like he'll be giving and not taking, to me. That's not a negotiation, it's a capitulation. A time honored "centrist" dem tradition.

Her favorables were in the 30's.  If you offer someone the choice between a pile of dogshit and a 3 day old hotdog, a lot of people are going to pick the 3 day old hotdog.  The only conclusion to be drawn from that, is people think a 3 day old hotdog is better than a pile of dogshit.

She's a smart woman. Even I'm not a huge fan, but I will admit she's very smart. Dumb men don't like smart women.

Hill just on the news complaining about all the women who didn't vote for her.  Presumably because they were afraid of their husbands and boyfriends getting out their cudgel sticks if they didn't kowtow.  How about that!  Women who disagree with her are abused lest they'd be on board with her views because she knows they aren't bright enough to work out anything on their own.  Goddam misogyny !! Calling my neighbors here 'deplorables' didn't go over all that well either.  And telling union labor (with their $$$$) to go fuck themselves was a big blunder too.  Her penchant for secrecy and a very substantiated disdain for rules that apply only to others was another self inflicted wound.  I'd note her recent hallucinatory harping in India shows she's headed the wrong way still in meting out blame and recrimms.

Broken record moment:

Go read HRC to learn how Obama clobbered her in the 2008 dem primary, and then go read Shattered to see how Hillary learned nothing from 2008 and fucked up the 2016 campaign royally. Failing to win a rigged election otta be sufficient evidence of what a shit candidate she was, but I know hearts have hardened and clouded some minds that experience shows usually work better.

(and I know no one will go read either book)

And who introduces this piece of shit and now registered sex offender to Huma?  Yeppers, Hillary.   Hell, this horny idiot lost the election for her all by himself.

Yeah, I'd say the main reason people are still piling on the hate is because she just won't go away. People thought she would run again for a while so there was that. Celebs continue to pay tribute in cringy ways to her and treat her like some major feminist icon. People aren't going to shut up about her when news stories come out showing that she rigged the primaries even worse than we had imagined. People are going to talk about that kind of thing.

She is smart.  And she works hard.  And she's trying to get shit done.

And when you put her in a general election, where she has to pretend to care deeply about the dumb shit dumb Americans care about, she just didn't have the acting chops.  Romney had the same problem.

I don't think she likes her base.  Does she seem like the vapid type that'd go put a pussy hat on her head, and march around for a day, and then pat herself on the back for 'standing up for women's rights'?  She's too smart and accomplished for that horseshit.  She wanted to shape the world on a global stage, not give McDonald workers an extra 2 dollars an hour.

But most of what she had to do to get elected involved pandering to the peon's issue of the day.

Even with being a woman.  No vibe I got from Hillary ever made me think she thought of herself as a woman breaking glass ceilings.  That was more horseshit for the pussy hat idiots.  But she had to act like she cared.

I didn't vote for her, because I thought she was a globalist hawk who was going to represent the world's most rich and powerful, and I thought trying something else for a change might be nice.  Bernie and Trump both offered that possibility to some degree.  It was very unlucky for her to run into 1st black candidate in 2008, then a populist surge in 2016.
