None of this should be allowed, it's damaging to society and encourages recycling of stupidity and should be made illegal whatever the source. Free speech is one thing, forcing fantasy and myths into minds and telling them it's true oversteps the line - it ruins a childs mind, often for life.

Call me extreme, militant, whatever you please. That's just how I am and I make my opinion clear, especially if this nonsense comes near my children (as I recently did at my daughters school).

What about your belief in abiogenesis? What about your fantasy that God does not exist? What is really damaging society is lack of morals, virtue, honesty, love, humility, and charity. If you believe it is harmful to teach these things, then you are the one who is damaging our society.

Since a lot of (christians/creationists) think that, why does the answer to our biggest questions have to be God? Why can't we settle for "I don't know" and try to find the answer to these questions?

I'd love to see your responses.

You're right, "we don't know". A higher power being involved in one way or another is a possibility that many people consider. Myself included. As long as we keep exploring and striving to learn as much as we can about the origins of the world, I don't see why it matters that people have certain opinions/beliefs/hypotheses that you don't agree with.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Oh my god, it's alive.  Praise Jesus it's a miracle.  The thread has been resurrected.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

Why don't they  close out obsolete threads? That would fix the problem.

You paying attention and abiding by the rules would fix the problem.  How hard is it to check the date on a thread?

Life started by some natural process that is what abiogenesis says. There are even some very good ideas as to what they could have been.
But for god there is nothing, what is a god made of and how did it start life? What was its process I want supporting evidence for your conclusions.
Got nothing have you.

You also have the problem that one of the main things that damages societies is religion.
If you look at religious countries now they are all repressive hell holes.
You look at history, religious countries have always been repressive hell holes. From the Aztecs to the protestants, kill oppress and control.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.
