I thought the Bible allows for guy on guy as long as they’re stoned...

Maybe, or maybe worse is stripping people capability of averting evil, because they been deceived to believe they have no control over their states of being. No one wants to condemn a human for something they aren't responsible for. I just don't find simply asserting humans have no capability or choice in the matter that convincing. In fact, it seems the opposite, that there is not any possible choice imaginable by free-will that is not actually possible for it to chose in any possible world.

None of which deals with the fact that: 1. Your opinion is wrong. Orientation isn't something people can just switch on a whim. 2. It doesn't touch on the fact that, even if people could somehow choose their sexuality (they can't), that you think that homosexuality is evil and worthy of condemnation. There's no wisdom or grace in saying "Man, I really don't like condemning these people, but I have to because they're not willing to change something I have no reason to think they can actually change to begin with. Something that does not affect me, but am told to hate from a dubious authority." It's you being an asshole, and attempting to excuse it as being some kind of divine profundity. It's not like it would mater if it were a choice, as in fully, completely, anytime you want control over sexual orientation. If I could choose, on a whim, to like men or women..what is supposed to be the evil in making either choice?
