I forgot there was a vision, and I've never heard of the trolley problem. But that's when Luke should have tried to redeem him. Not murder him. He's not even Luke anymore. I'm kind of glad he won't be around in the future if he's become unrecognizable as Luke Skywalker.

It doesn't help that a big part of the reason Ben does all those horrible things, is because he woke up to the sight of his uncle standing over him with a lightsaber drawn.

I won't say.

But, adding to the discussion, the moment Qui-gon introduced Anakin to the Jedi Council as the "one who will bring balance to the force" I would have killed the little prick.

Why?

10,000 Jedi, 2 Sith. Balance those scales...

I did find it funny that the jedi thought "bringing balance" meant defeating the sith.

The Sith were running the Republic and the Jedi still didn't have a clue until a guy who became the #2 Sith narked on his boss. They were smug, complacent and blind.

If you've seen any of the animated series, they've done a great job filling in some of the details of Anakin's fall and also the plot holes in the movies.

It's how they interpreted the prophecy . And in the Jedi philosophy the Darkside is considered an imbalance in the force .

Palpatine was using the Darkside to blind the Jedi . Including using an ancient sith shrine under the Jedi temple to cloud their site

And that leaves non-nerds hanging.

Or, as Deadpool would say, "That's just lazy writing."
