As Mister Agenda said, Huggy doesn't seem to understand the word 'most'.

If an individual's brain isn't capable of deciding what's moral, how in the world will they ever recognize a correct moral authority. You just can't get around the necessity of individuals deciding for themselves what is right, though in all cases this is not done in a vacuum. People grow up not just in a village but in a culture. The only question is whether it is more moral to remain in unthinking obedience to the norms of the culture one inherits or to recognize ones responsibility to criticize those norms in the light of current conditions.

Not interested in dating your boyfriend.
Does loving your mother make her your girlfriend? wait, don't answer that. The mullet pic is all I need.

Seems like certain christians have a huge problem with this one.....but maybe that's because they're self loathing pricks who see themselves as degenirate sinners..and they -are- loving others as they love themselves?

Gee, I wonder what might make them see themselves and others that way?  Jerkoff

You can't really have a problem with that and claim to be a christian, now can you?

What episode is next?  Huggy's saved posts about misunderstood and poorly worded questions?  Cherry picking insults from literally 2 fucking years ago (part deux)?  What and see kids!

Yes I was kind of surprised that it was back from 2013.

There is none other commandment greater than these. - Mark 12-31

Do you have a problem with the above?

It does assume that you can choose to love or not love, or be commanded to do so. How sincere can such love be?

Mr God sounds more like an abusive spouse.

Love that come from the heart is sincere.

It certainly did in the case of jesus, now didn't it?

Obviously, christians can and do have a problem with it and still call themselves christians.  Maybe you should go and harass them about that one? Show em some christian love.

Huggy will just ignore this post like my one asking how he knows that his moral authority is the correct one.

What is an athiest's moral authority? What puts them on the same moral page?

I have empathy. That is all that is needed for morality.

Well Huggy, in plain words, you are a piss poor excuse to tell us about morals. And your bible is also the same. I mean, you should know that the bible has zero sway with most of us. Not mentioning the fact that some of ot is abhorrently immoral, it isn't even self consistent.

You can love your god all you want and are free to do so. That fact however gives you zero leverage on judging others morals.

American Christians seem to be the worst sort of humans with the least morals, they advocate all sorts of abuses as a matter of course and don't even seem to realise they are doing it.
British Christians are generally benign and almost impossible to tell apart from atheists.

I can say that holds true in Portugal, barring some minor evangelicals, JWs and the odd mormon.
