Abortion: Pro-Choice or Pro-Life?

RE: Abortion: Pro-Choice or Pro-Life?
Quote:No, I hate these polls because I deem them pointless and over-simplified. I want everyone who votes to control other's "choices" by force of law to burn in the same force they want to use on others before they prescribe it as their answer. I don't care what those choices are, whether they include murder, hate, or even rape: I despise law and the force it requires to retain.

Society does a good enough job of discouraging these things, and it already makes people suffer plenty for anything it frowns upon. I even despise the existence of police... is it so hard for others to see that societies police themselves?

And no, I don't feel like going into my utter contempt for law right now. It's enough that you know my stance is always against controlling the behavior of another, and I prefer to risk murders than to tie people's hands behind their backs. Such a shame that this society doesn't look at things the same way I do.

I dont care much for the police myself. but as far as "controlling the behavior of the other, it is clearly on the "pro-life" side where the controling behavior is. The pro-choice doesnt say "You must have an abortion". But the pro life says "You must NOT have an abortion."

Quote:Challenges loom as world population hits 7 billion

She's a 40-year-old mother of eight, with a ninth child due soon. The family homestead in a Burundi village is too small to provide enough food, and three of the children have quit school for lack of money to pay required fees.

"I regret to have made all those children," says Godelive Ndageramiwe. "If I were to start over, I would only make two or three."

At Ahmed Kasadha's prosperous farm in eastern Uganda, it's a different story.

"My father had 25 children - I have only 14 so far, and expect to produce more in the future," says Kasadha, who has two wives. He considers a large family a sign of success and a guarantee of support in his old age.

By the time Ndageramiwe's ninth child arrives, and any further members of the Kasadha clan, the world's population will have passed a momentous milestone. As of Oct. 31, according to the U.N. Population Fund, there will be 7 billion people sharing Earth's land and resources.

Watch your liver.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

It's not her life. It doesn't belong to her. The baby's life is its alone.

Really fr0d0...if it was NOT for MAN going and providing food and STABILITY for the mother and her offspring ....he WOULDN'T GET A FUCK!
Granted. So we would be justified in killing all poor people? ...if you don't think it's right to kill poor people because they're poor, then how do you justify killing babies due to financial concerns?

Fine, but she can decide wether it gets nourishment or not, seeing as it is HER body that it lives off of.

either way people try to argue it, it never takes away from the supremecy of the womans body over the baby.
