He's been told before, and ignored it. But points for trying.

Jesus Christ you work both sides of the street shamelessly.

....

Where are you the least likely to get shot?

1. A church.
2. A school.
3. A bar.
4. A gun show.

....

Bonus question - which one has the most armed people?

Well, gee. Lots of public places where we should have to worry about getting shot at all. So, okay, there's nowhere these days that you're unlikely to get shot.

That was not the question.

Where are you LEAST likely to get shot?

If we really dug in, we'd probably find that schools are the place where a person is least likely to get shot.

The shock of seeing those metrics move drives reactionary positions.

On a per capita basis, I'd say you're least likely to be shot at a school.  There are roughly 76 million students at school in the US on any given day, so the actual percentage of those shot is probably the smallest.

I found one estimate that about 5 million people per year attend gun shows in the US (which seems to be far lower than the number of people attending schools, churches, or bars).  It seems that the highest percentage of people shot - not the raw number - would be at gun shows, where there are the most armed people.

Thanks for asking the question.  Numbers is fun.

Explain why schools are so dangerous.

It obviously is not an abundance of guns.

We have established that.

LOL You think it's cool that gun shows are safe? Especially when that's been refuted?

Clearly if you want lawmakers to understand that gun owners are stable law-abiding citizens who deserve to have their firearms unregulated, you get together a bunch of them on MLK Day armed to the teeth with their AR-15 and similar weapons hanging out and be sure to bring along some neo-Nazis. That will reassure the pols that the people who own them are no threat to public safety....
