Competing over tall buildings was done the ancient world and what says dominance what says power ,wealth , and populous like a grand structure to immortalized yourself that's pierces the sky . So when you talk about buildings, every damned society worldwide was building buildings at the time. But nobody had any damned clue how big they could get in modern times.

What does it mean to be able to build Skyscrapers, or to even write Shakespeare, if we are not smart enough to accept we are an invasive species? The species causing the most damage to life right now are humans.

Mo wasn't specific saying people or nations will build grand structures to compete with  one another for power, prestige, etc etc is ancient and very attuned to human nature . None the things listed are exclusive to the region he lived nor is the idea that arabs would embrace the aforementioned principle  of building outlandish . And if Mo was able see the future there is no reason he couldn't have been more precise on things like location arabs knew about fucking locations and navigation  .What people were wearing as it wasn't that different then to now . No reason he could not have given or city names . Hell even the old testament wasn't that vague or lazy .Hell Mo didn't even bother to say the towers were made of metal and glass which would have really stood out . People are smart they can understand more than Klor thinks .
