No it's not
Quote:A vision of a peaceful Utopia without police
More nope
Quote:A narrative being embraced by all criminal alike
It was a parody dumbass
Quote:So that same fantasy utopia the blinds the left happens to be the same utopia every criminal would die for
Pure delusion

Unhinged nonesense
Quote:It take u didn't understand mine cos that is the noise coming from the most extreme
No it's not
Quote:Even in Australia where "institutionalized racism" doesn't exist their are people talking on the ABC (the national broadcaster) about scraping cops completely
Yes it does
Quote:But lets see what the actual NYPD has to say, the world renowned NYPD.
The NYPD have a awful track record on brutality so they don't get to talk
Quote:Where would New York be without these people?
Under a new system
Quote:Where would any city and county be without these people?
Under a new system
Quote:No one ever said black lives don't matter. The only reason they are still rioting is cos they are thugs.
Plenty of people have SHOWN that and not just to rioters .Unless your blind

You not having a horse in this race has everything to do with what I said.
What are the liberals doing in your country? Oh, I see, holding police accountable without the necessity of protest/riot.
You should shaduppauface.
I have no idea what u are going on about. All i did was ask a simple question...

Not once did he address the instances (recorded and put online) of NYPD officers stepping over the line and assaulting peaceful protestors.
Yes, there's no excuse for rioting or looting, and those who participate in these activities should be prosecuted.
But there's also no excuse for cops pepper spraying peaceful protesters, knocking down old men, assaulting people with no provocation, and carrying on like low rent gestapo.
There are plenty of good cops out there, but they, and their reputations, will be tarnished so long as those who do break the rules are not prosecuted or, if they are, get off despite overwhelming evidence.
Most police have good intentions. I don't think all their reputations should be tarnished based on the actions of a few.
The police in questioned have been charged so we'll just have to wait and see now

It isn't about cops. It's about cop culture. Once you fetishize and militarize the police, they come to see their primary function as keeping ALL people - not just criminals - in order This necessarily evolves into brutality, which fosters the culture in which courts protect cops and cops protect their own.
An excellent example of how cops now view themselves is this (thanks to Brian37 for the link). The relevant bit starts at 3:36.
When cops use force against people for talking - not rioting, not looting, not blocking traffic, just talking - it's painfully obvious that the current problems are not individual police, but the way the police and the public view law enforcement in general.
Firing, arresting, charging, and (hopefully) convicting bad cops is all well and good as far as it goes, but it isn't going to fix the problem.

We'll see. I hear back peddling from "abolish" from the party. But thanks for bringing the hyperbolic speech.
