Christian woman interrupts two boys because she thinks they are gays and, therefore, insulting Jesus with their existence
Do you go to church anywhere?
Do you know how to get to heaven?
Are you gay?
They don't teach young kids about God anymore
I'm not forcing Christianity on you but the truth has to be out there
God told me to talk to you
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

So, it seems Sye Ten Bruggencate, apologist and general arsehole's sudden departure from all social media and "duties" is because he took advantage of a vulnerable woman.
The exact circumstances have yet to come to light.
Why is it that these pricks almost always turn out to be predators?
Perhaps when these arseholes decide they want fo become priests or involved in church hierarchy/politics, they should immediately be added to the sex offenders register.
It would save time.

"We're in the Money"
Quote:Preachers and their $5,000 sneakers: Why one man started an Instagram account showing churches’ wealth
While listening to a song by Elevation Worship, a megachurch based in Charlotte, the evangelical churchgoer noticed the lead singer’s Yeezy sneakers were worth nearly the amount of his first rent check.
Kirby posted to his 400 followers on Instagram, “Hey Elevation Worship, how much you paying your musicians that they can afford $800 kicks? Let me get on the payroll!”
Plus, Kirby wondered, how could the church’s pastor, Steven Furtick, one of the most popular preachers in the country, afford a new designer outfit nearly every week?
On his feed, Kirby has showcased Seattle pastor Judah Smith’s $3,600 Gucci jacket, Dallas pastor T.D. Jakes’s $1,250 Louboutin fanny pack and Miami pastor Guillermo Maldonado’s $2,541 Ricci crocodile belt. And he considers Paula White, former president Donald Trump’s most trusted pastoral adviser who is often photographed in designer items, a PreachersNSneakers “content goldmine,” posting a photo of her wearing $785 Stella McCartney sneakers.
As the Instagram account grew, Kirby started asking more serious questions about wealth, class and consumerism, including whether it’s appropriate to generate massive revenue from selling the gospel of Jesus.
“I began asking, how much is too much?” Kirby said. “Is it okay to get rich off of preaching about Jesus? Is it okay to be making twice as much as the median income of your congregation?”

That's something I really cant get about the prosperity shamans. If I made that much money bilking poor people, I wouldn't spend it on designer anything. You'd try to stretch it out, be frugal, right?

Really? A religious war?
Quote:Ammon Bundy has amassed an army of over 50,000 as he looks for his next battle in a religious war
Ammon Bundy, right-wing malcontent behind the 2016 armed takeover of Oregon's Malheur Wildlife Refuge and now a western anti-mask movement, believes he's doing God's work.
Coming from a long line of religiously inspired men who have been "called" to defend the US Constitution, Bundy has varied in his focus, from rebelling against public land ranching regulations to protesting COVID-19 safety protocols. But in his view, these are all forms of government tyranny and affronts to constitutional rights.
Ammon now has his own militia, the People's Rights Network, an army of over 50,000 members in 50 states, according to the organization's website. He recently finished a recruitment tour in Utah, talking God, liberty, and the need for vigilante action—antidotes to golden calves. His campaign is part of a long drawn arc and we shouldn't expect his rebellion to end with a die-down of COVID-19. Bundy's attention will return to public land battles, where the first insurgencies began. It wasn't COVID-19 that spurred the formation of the People's Rights Network and inspired Bundy's mission, it was a deeply rooted sense of righteousness, Cliven's dream, and a version of Mormon ideology.

They forgot one ingredient to the formation of this terrorist group, Ammon's heartfelt desire to bilk idiots out of their money.

Arkansas State House Republicans Pass Bill Allowing Creationism in Science Class
The Arkansas State House yesterday voted 72-21 in favor of letting public school science teachers “teach creationism as a theory of how the earth came to exist.”
It was a party line vote, with every Democrat against it and every Republican for it.
The short bill defies (or completely ignores) the Supreme Court’s ruling against the teaching of Creationism since everyone knows it’s all about advancing religion instead of teaching credible science.
