Doesn't it.... Smile

The theology of christians is love and forgiveness, now how could that be unpleasant.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Explain it to the victims of the Inquisition.

If people are saved by works, faith is not needed.
If people are saved by faith, God is not just.

If God is just, what does the unbeliever have to fear?
If God is not just, what does the believer hope to serve?

There is no dilemma on hell

People can not be saved by works, so faith is needed.
People saved by faith are saved by a just God.

God is just and that is why the unbeliever should fear.
God is just and we serve God and try to follow His will.

If the unbeliever fears then what is he fearing?

If he is fearing a just God then he is not an unbeliever.

Who are you to know that Hitler is not in heaven, GC? Who are you to deem someone to be not a true christian?

So Hitler is in Heaven, Gandhi is in Hell and this is your idea of justice.

Duh, I believe that's what I was indicating. The word proves should be the indicator.

RE: Hell - Where is the idea of justice?
It really makes no difference what Hitler was. I don't care if he was a Hindu. Someone's religious claims are not necessarily indicative of what their morals are. There are both Atheists and Christians who we would view as being awful people.

However, Godschild I would be careful of saying that someone simply could not be a true Christian and do what Hitler did. It is not good works or being the "best" person that ultimately gets you to heaven. It is God's grace and faith in him is it not?

Now repentance may very well be required but it does not matter how evil someones actions were they still could seek forgiveness when knocking at deaths door. Do I think Hitler sought forgiveness? No, but the point everyone has been trying to make is that it is ---- >POSSIBLE <----

Not probable just possible.

And it doesn't matter whether your sin is murder or masturbation.
Ask for forgiveness and you're in.
So Adolf could be in heaven right now.
