Constant pain—i.e. chronic pain—even mild, would be more of a sign of a tumor than acute pain..... I THINK. Although acute pain could be something else severe.

Although acute pain could be something else severe. Constant pain would not be considered transitory, acute pain would be debilitating, what's your point? Maybe I'm confused, do you disagree with my previous statement? Headache is one of the most common medical complaints. I have headaches very rarely. When they do happen, the cause is probably a sleepless night, too much caffeine followed by caffeine withdrawal, or something in my sinuses.
I have fairly frequent headaches, though not as frequent or severe as I used to have. I blame the queen of England.

I was replying to your statement by saying that acute transitory—especially when intermittent, to be more specific—head pain is a more significant indicator of a tumour than, say, chronic mild head pain (although, of course, I presume that acute and chronic head pain combined is the most significant indicator of a tumour). But perhaps I am wrong. I don't know much about medical stuff. I am just intuiting and seeing if you agree or not. As a bold pathway to learning on my part. You seem knowledgeable on these matters. Acute and chronic are two different things. Both can have several causes including environmental and/or physiological/neurological etiologies. Migraines are acute transitory and can be singular or repeating. Chronic does not have to be a tumor, it can be as simple as visual disorder, stress or sleep disturbance. Don't confuse chronic with continuous.
