Hey, I completely get it. I'm wondering whether Biker has thought this through, is all. Imagine if this were The Problem used to deflect from an ideologically motivated mass vehicular homicide. Perhaps any driver who threatens another driver goes on a No Car list, too. Speaking in general, does indicating that you intentionally purchased a pistol to shoot someone with it count as a threat, while we're at it..such that the majority of hangunds owners in the US would have psychologically disqualified themselves by indicating that they bought a pistol "for self defense"?

Really, so by your logic, I could feed my child(if I had one) rat poison and kill them? No, sorry, in a civil society ethical laws allow the state to remove the child from the house if they are in danger, and the parent can be charged with neglect or endangerment. 

And exactly why should the amount of firearm violence and death we have in America be considered moral? I don't see our stats as moral, I see them as a failure, and one purposely created by the industry and it's lobbies  and the GOP, to protect their profits. Just because you want to do something, or currently can do something based on law, does not automatically make it moral.

Slavery was once considered moral and the courts used to back slaveowners up. I am glad they no longer have that "freedom".

Judging by your takes on George Floyd and Kyle Rittenhouse, you could probably just say some shit about how his critics are denigrating the idea of self-defense and then backtracking on it once people start calling you out on your bullshit.

Or if the guy who was caught with CP, an arsenal in his car, and a history of threatening to kill Joe Biden (or the January 6 riots or the guy who placed pipe bombs at the RNC and DNC headquarters) are any indication, you could probably latch on to some of the laws he tried to break but failed and balk at the idea of his being held accountable for any of his attempted crimes, arguing that if he’s too stupid to pull that off, it doesn’t count.

Also, OLB seems to have forgotten that the man facing down the tanks was engaged in a non-violent protest ....So why would he have brought a gun to the protest? Also, Ukraine's victory is a lot more complicated than "they owned guns" This is a very simplistic view.
