Natural family planning

Some Catholics forgive and understand.

Neo-Thomist Twitter says the Eucharist is a doggie treat for saints on their best behavior, not wartime rations for striving sinners in a fallen world like Pope Francis says.

They call him "Bergoglio" and think he's the antichrist while trying to figure out how to make Trump pope.

Have you ever been a penitent in Sacramental confession?  I underwent the Sacrament dozens of times, and so, I do understand what is going on.  I could return to Catholicism at any time simply by confessing to a Catholic priest and abjuring atheism.

Well, don’t feel special. I was baptized, confirmed, have been to more Mass more often than most people have had hot dinners, have confessed, attended Catholic school for eight horrifying years (and Sunday school just as often) and was (briefly) an altar boy.

I say you don’t understand because EVERYTHING you have posted on this topic says it is possible (not preferred, not optional, just possible) to be absolved of sins - in the most extreme of circumstances - without the formal sacrament of Confession.

This is what I’ve been saying all along, yet you post things that go hand-in-glove with what I’m saying as if I’m wrong.

As I have stated, I have simply been posting from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which was promulgated by Pope John Paul II in his Apostolic Letter Fidei depositum. Having said that, I do not think that Catholic Answers, a conservative Catholic organization, is representing Catholicism accurately, but, being a former Catholic, I do not really care. And, so, my "argument" is not with you, it's with them, but, then again, who cares??

Understand that Popes can also do theology and they can also express opinions as human beings. Unless Francis is promulgating an encyclical letter, nothing that he says carries the charism of his so-called Petrine office.

For someone who isn't having an 'argument' with me, you're giving a phenomenally good impression of doing just that.

Briefly looking over my previous posts, I haven't been quoting from you but from your sources. This is, after all, a message board, isn't it? And, besides, it's been fun to reminisce; I do have a fondness for my former Catholic faith. As I posted before, I left because I found myself no longer believing in it.

It sounds like you would go back to it if you had to.

Had to? As in, you'd be imprisoned and or executed if you failed to profess catholic beliefs? Easiest thing in the world, I'm sure.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

No I meant "had to" as more like, for the sake of his own sanity.

There are atheists, such as David Mills, who would never accept the evidence of the miraculous; I am not one of those atheists. If there was evidence, I would at least consider it.

Ah, for the sake of sanity. Well, I think you might have that relationship backwards.
