I used myself as an example but I could as easily use you. I think if you or me or the average Joe with average morals we could be nazi concentration camp guards, slave owners, ghengis khan's generals or whatever example you want to use.

In relation to Kanye, if I were to try and stand up for him I'd say he's just taking it to the extreme when he says he loves absolutely everyone and its without exception he's trying to see the most positive in everyone who's existed.

But that's a bit like saying Ian Watkins was a great singer and forgetting all the other stuff.

I don't agree with the stuff he's saying I think it's all a bit mad and it probably doesn't make sense even in the context of trying to love everyone but maybe that's what the attempt is towards.

Indeed most people will not be John Brown or Julius Leber. Robbed of hindsight 20/20 and the big picture a person can fall in line with the worst of their society and excuse its cruelties due to self-interest.
