-The US is waging unceasing war in the Arab world and needs to pack up and get out. Or,
-The US is responsible for ending internal problems in the Arab world, even though these problems existed long before the US was even a gleam in the milkman's eye.

Ending problems is not what the U.S wants; its foreign policy "wants and seeks what serves America" only.
If problems serve America more; they'll help to keep the problems on fire.
If problems don't serve America; they try to end it ASAP.
The country is led by extreme Pragmatic politicians: they follow the interest of the U.S only.
No hard feelings for the allies of the U.S: the deal is well known from the start: these Yanks are only in it as long as their interests are met. Break the interest deal; you break the alliance.
The moment the interest is broken; the U.S is out of the deal.
It's a straightforward system; almost basic and simple too just like the laws of the jungle.
And yet you’re kvetching that the US didn’t do more about MUSLIM boy-buggerers.
Please explain to me how MUSLIM same-sex paedophilia is in the best interest of Americans.

US foreign policy is often self serving, but not exclusively. You may believe as much because you believe that everything is a zero sum game..but, I'm glad that not everyone thinks that way, or us foreign policy would be even worse.

I’d be surprised if that didn’t apply to the foreign (and domestic) policy of every nation ever.
