Is Trump going to Prison?

But it's not just Trump. Clearly, the new conservative ideology just presents as insanity.

It’s only insane from the outside looking in. Given that their entire motive is to take and hold power, to rule (not govern), no matter what the cost, their ideology makes perfect sense.

The NY judge today, in ruling in the NY Attorney General civil case against Trump, has found that he indeed (in a "summary judgement") committed fraud in the valuation of his properties, and has called for cancellation of ALL Trump's business certificates, (ie he cannot "rent property" or run ANY other business in New York), which is the literal foundation of his wealth. He's not only going to prison, he's headed to the poor house.

He'll have money as long as the magats keep throwing it at him, and he doesn't have to raise a finger.

You may be right, ...
but I think there's an exhaustion point for everyone. "They" cannot provide an "exponential" type of fortune which US business pops out.

That just means he'll get the good kind of flip flops in Fulton County lockup.

trump being jailed for mere state crimes implies to the observer that at national level there is not the wherewithal to hold ring leader of armed insurrection against itself to account.    it means to those who are keeping their powders dry while waiting to seei whether national insurrection can be a viable strategy would see the strategy to still be a viable strategy, just need better ground work and more tactical planning.

basically it says the national government is not able to defend itself against insurrection and punish the would be insurrectionist, and must subcontract the job.

A world where you can make more money as a lawyer defending criminals implies a deeply flawed justice system.

that is a natural and inevitable outcome if presumption of innocence,  there are a lot of ways lawyers can raise doubts so they are most often in a position to charge some money to find some.

the alternative is layers can make less money defending criminals but woe betide many more who are innocent but whose prosecution’s case appear strong.
