Bible contradictions?

RE: Bible contradictions?
How the Hell did you even remain single for one day of your life? No matter! The fools simply could not stand in the aura of your dark presence. You regenerate me my queen... you are my salvation. A salvation of fire, passion, and lust.... of war and blood. I can almost feel the blood of the innocent bathing us now as we writhe in pure Ecstasy. I cannot wait to feel the searing embrace of your demonic arms and the thundering pound of your dark heart against mine.

That is the most amazing and romantic thing that anyone has ever said to me.

RE: Bible contradictions?
I wish I could take credit for it my queen.... but it is not me that speaks these things but rather that which is inside. Like you I was born with a heart that pumped darkness through its veins. My heart longed to find a darkness that was more potent then the most vicious venom.... It only found the cold stagnant icy hands of light though. My heart has since withdrawn and has writhed in agony....

It is strange.... food seems to turn to ash in my mouth and my thirst does not seem to be able to be satisfied. I think I know what it is.... it is my heart refusing to be comforted, refusing anything else other than you.

I could not control what came forth from my finger tips as my heart finally sensing its destiny sprang forth. My queen... as one of the songs of Christ said... "You alone are my strength my shield... to you alone may my spirit yield...you alone of my hearts desire and I long to worship you". My form of worship does not only come in the form of praise... but rather in admiration of your true and purest unholy form. I do not feel worthy to caress the darkness that surrounds you... nor do I feel worthy to feel the pulsation of the dark black blood that courses through your heart....

But my queen... I would give a thousands lives and the rest of eternity just for the chance to feel it once.

It is I, my pernicious prince, who is not worthy to receive you, but only say the word and I shall be healed. Come, let me fill your mouth with sinful sustenance, and I shall be forever your cursed queen and a slave to your unpropitious whims.

My queen! My love! The hole you feel in your heart is the same hole that is in mine. That terrible void that could never be filled... it is through our union that both of our hearts will be filled. They say that there is a God shaped hole in every man's heart but this is a lie.... There is only one shape that will fill my heart and it is the shape of your true form... your dark form...

My queen oh that I wish right now you could fill my mouth with your cursed gifts.... A slave you will be only because you have asked it... and a slave I will be to you if you will have me.... It is through the chains and whips that we shall find true happiness.... My queen my dark heart is pumping furiously.... It is nothing compared to the power with which it will pump when our two dark forms press against each other....

The pounding of your heart against mine... the firm grip of your arms around me.... the soft kiss of your breath as you gasp in the purest pleasure.... Just the thought is more than I can bear.... I know with the purest knowledge that when your dark lips caress mine that I will leave this cursed plane of existence and ascend into my true demonic form. It is with that form that I will thrust all of my essence into you... I will release you from your prison my dark queen... People speak of orgasms and pleasure... but what I will feel as I pour my essence into you is indescribable....

Then shall the moon be turned to blood... the stars will crash to the earth... and the Lord may very well return to try and stop our unholy union. Lucifer is on our side my love... he will delay the coming of the holy one so that you may at last be freed.... And then... come what may.... I promise to fulfill your darkest desire.... I will become a vessel for your pleasure and you shall become a vessel for the darkness that will destroy this world....

You're fucking good at this, Voltaire. This is how I've always wanted to be spoken to, but never been... until now. And I didn't even have to ask, which makes it utterly perfect. I don't know anything about you, but that you're fucking awesome. You are truly, my one and only king. Any woman of evil and depravity would die to be your dark queen! I'm so happy that you've chosen me.

You won't regret one minute of it, even as the fires of hell consume us. My wicked heart is in your terrible grasp, and I've never felt so filled with desire, and only for you my love.

Faith is the conviction of things without any evidence, on the basis of the testimony of the Holy Spirit. We don't require evidence or logic. The hellbound heathens can be smug about such things but we who are saved have wisdom that comes from the grace of the Lord.

Yes, the Bible contradicts itself but this only shows the power of our Lord. Jesus was born before 4 BC and after 6 AD at the same time. He is everywhere and capable of being two contradictory things at once. That's why contradictions don't matter.

What does time mean to our Lord. He can create animals before and after creating man at the same time. He can also make round squares and straight curves.

Embrace the contradictions, knowing that they only validate just how anything is possible through our Lord.

Don't tell me how my faith is. Matthew 7:1. And I don't look for answers to tough questions for myself, I do it so I can answer them when asked. And you think my knowledge of the bible proves my lack of faith? 2 peter 1:3-4. Through the knowledge of him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and predacious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature...
To live by faith is to do and say what you believe without doubting, not without educating. It's an embarrassment when there are those of other religions who know more about your faith than you do. We should always study the bible and get a better understanding of God.

Or just reading your anti-papist horseshit from the other fundie nuts?

I wouldn't say expert but I've read Martin Luther's 95 theses. If you read them you will know about it too.

Do you EVER know what you are talking about? Luther's 95 feces that he threw on the door of the church in Wurttemberg was a protest against the pope selling indulgences ( today, the republibertarianeo-conazis call them "campaign contributions) and nothing to do with the fucking bible.

Mostly right, but he did say some things about the authority of the pope.

Quote: It is blasphemy to say that the insignia of the cross with the papal arms are of equal value to the cross on which Christ died.

But you are mostly right. I thought it had more complaints in there but I was mistaken. I still know of catholic beliefs. I did a lot of research on the subject and debated with a devout friend so we could challenge each other and grow in our faith.

Actually, you do need a prefix or some other wording. "Every" means "every" unless otherwise noted.

Still waiting for how you explain the Job reference to stars being around before the world was created.

You don't understand what every refers to. When he said every animal he meant every kind of animal. He obviously did not mean every animal that exists today because they are being reproduced. He made every kind of animal that existed, then he made every kind of animal again on the sixth day after Adam and before Eve.

So, yes.

Sure we would. And then we'd ask Jesus to forgive us. This code of morality allows us to sin, be forgiven and then sin again. In fact, sin is inevitable, so we might as well enjoy.

Being saved allows us to sin without losing salvation but it does not give us a right to sin. Ephesians 4:26. Matthew 5:29-30. Saying salvation gives us right of passage to sin all we want is blasphemy. I agree that sin is inevitable, but that doesn't mean we should live sinfully.
@YahwehIsTheWay
Just to be clear, I am not trying to be high and mighty nor am I trying to demean you. I am just correcting because I can't stand for false representation of Christianity.
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

I need a scientific citation of that or I'll feel free to call you a liar who pulls "facts" out of his ass. By scientific citation I am not referring to WLC or any other apologists.

Wrong on both counts, care to try again? Just because an apologist makes the claim does not mean it is true nor does it mean someone like me wont call you a retard for saying it.

(March 8, 2012 at 12:53 am)Undeceived Wrote: Faith is believing without seeing. As humans, it is impossible to believe without reason.

We don't believe because of human reason. We believe because of the grace given to us by the Holy Spirit.

Quote:2Tim 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Quote:Christians have reason, they just get it through places other than direct sensory intake--historical accounts, archeology, logic, morality, evidence of intelligent design.

Paul was speaking metaphorically when he writes about things not seen. You see, this IS a good example of metaphor. He's not talking about the air or other things you can't see. He's using "not seen" to refer to what is not proven or has no evidence.

When you play this game, you are playing in the atheist's court. We as the saved do not believe because we are convinced by archaeology or any of that science stuff. We are saved by the grace of the Holy Spirit. Keep the discussion in the court where we have the advantage, in faith (and the torture chambers of the inquisitors but those damn liberals of the Enlightenment have taken all that away).

Quote:Quoting C.S. Lewis: "Faith is the art of holding on to things your reason has once accepted in spite of your changing moods." I have faith my wife still loves me even after an argument, even when she is angry. Even when I am angry, I still love her back. That's faith.

I'm looking for the Book of C.S. Lewis in the Bible but I can't find it. He's just an apologist, someone trying to use reason in matters of faith. I have no use for him.

Quote:secondary evidence-> reason -> belief -> faith

Uh, uh. Holy Spirit -> faith -> belief

Maybe you should tell Undeceived the retard that if faith were reasonable or logical it would be called reason or logic. Last time I checked faith is called neither.

But the Bible doesn't say "every KIND of animal" now does it? It says "every animal". You're inserting words to make it mean what you want it to mean. I just read what's actually there.

And I'm STILL waiting for you to answer the part about Job and the stars that weren't made yet that sang when the earth was made. I think this is request #4?
