God does not love you...

The really strange thing is that I decided to take a look at the word and found that there were four different words in Greek for love, and that, of all people, C.S. Lewis wrote an entire book explaining the concept, and he (and, come to think of it) every authority stresses that "Agape" is supposed to be an unconditional love.

Rev, look at the link I posted back a couple of messages. It hammers home the confusion between philos and agape, even within biblical context.

Six pages of jesus-freak drivel....I don't know how you guys can put up with it.

Hey, asshole. It's your fairy tale. You can make him play the bongos in the nude in a Gay Cuban band on Cinco de Mayo if you want and it don't mean shit.

lol

I wonder how proud jesus is of his little Drich right now??

All his 'agape ramblings' have done is further alienate non-believers and show us how much of a dark lord his god really is. Furthermore, his belligerent attitude towards everyone has only proven that he is equally intolerant and hostile as he and his brothers-in-christ claim that we are.

Jesus must be so proud of him right now. I'll bet if Jesus could write Drich a letter it would say something like this:

A Letter From Jesus to Drich Wrote:Dear Drich,

I am so grateful to have people like you serve me. One of my favorite things to do on earth was rub people's noses in the fact that my father never had any intention of loving them. Isn't it awesome being in an uber-elite group?! Another one of my favorite things to do is simply change the meanings and definitions of known facts to suit my agenda ... and you sir have brought it to an art-form!! I may have to replace Statler Waldorf as my favorite Atheist Forums member with you. I'm really digging how you're completely arrogant about all things Christian. Admittedly, it doesn't make me look very good, but who cares, I never had any intention of saving any of those non-believing pieces of garbage anyway. Tell Dee Tee, Godschild and Abishalom that their lord & savior is really proud of them too. If there's one thing I always enjoyed doing, it was going into anti-religion groups and make people really hate me. Good job gentlemen.

I'll let you get back to it, but before I do I want you to remember one thing. I'm Jesus Christ! and I have specifically told you to go out into the world and do exactly what you're doing. Pissing people off and reminding them that my father only loves a select few of you people and the rest can go to hell! (ha, pardon the pun)

Sincerely,

Your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Not the best written refutation, but gets to the root of the matter:

John 21:15-17 (NKJV):
15So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love [agap-] Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love [phil-] You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” 16He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love [agap-] Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love [phil-] You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” 17He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love [phil-] Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love [phil-] Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love [phil-] You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

You do understand that your link is not a lexicon correct?

Dear, Jesus

I am doing the best I can with what you have given me. I know my efforts fall far short of any number of your other followers, and i know I have a great many short comings. to which these people seem to bring out in me, over and over again. You have told me to be bold, through others you have given me reason and a drive to help those who are trapped by what they have been taught to be "reason and logic." i ask if it is your will that i remain here, helping these lost sheep, that you remain patient and give me the strength and wisdom I need to remain here. Because currently I am ridiculed and tested beyond my limits over and again by each and every single one of these people. However if it is your will that I shake the dust from my feet and move on I ask that you close this door, because I will not be able to even if it means I crash and burn, and bring great shame on you and to your Great Name.. I am simply trying to be faithful to what you have given me and asked that you guide me and fill in where i fail.

Your humble servant,
Drich

Dear Drich,

I took Tim Tebow out and put you in! Don't blow it! Just remind yourself that I never had any plans to love them and take 'em down!!!

Sincerely,

Your Lord, Savior and absolute supreme jealous vengeful god - and don't you forget it, Jesus Christ

Dear Drich,

Don't listen to them, I'm the real Jesus. And I'm actually a space alien too.
