Man created in god's image

This is where your theist will say "mankind cannot create something as complex" (except for the exceptionally stupid ones who just blame our bodily failures on sin), but that just avoids the huge issue that flaws of any kind should be considered entirely unacceptable when the creator holds such pretensions as "all-knowing" and "all-powerful".

So tell us, what a superior design for man would be.

And I guess if asked you do. Now how wonderfully funny is that, tell us what is it we do not know that you do know, please give specifics.

Give me a break! Your god has no mortal body. Even if there were such thing as god, it would not be an old man (woman) sitting up in the clouds shaking it's head and wagging it's finger. The limitations of such a being would be that of a man.

Your god would consist of 'being', 'awareness' and 'soul'.

I did not say God has a body, scripture tells us He is spirit, I've already made this point, you should read the comments of others before posting. Christ who is part of the Truine Godhead now has a physical body and it is immortal, so in that since you are wrong. My whole point is this, we were created as a triune being, making us like God in the fact He's triune.

Drich, the reason people have to try to clarify exactly what position you are arguing is simply because you are unclear. For the sake of clarity please answer the following two questions in a direct way:

A) when god, at the time of the creation, made Adam in his image, does that mean god at that time had nipples?
B) if yes, well why does god have nipples?

I did read, you make no sense. If god has no body, then how is the body of man "in his image"?

So, christ is running around in heaven with a mortal body? Get serious. Of what use is a body for those in heaven?

If you read you pay no attention to what others say, in my last reply I stated as scripture does, Christ's body is immortal.
Does scriptures say God made man's body in His image, or does it simply say man, because man is more than a body.

Then how come the Romans killed him when they nailed his sorry ass to a cross? ( Assuming for the sake of argument that that part of your fairy tale is any more factual than the rest of it.)

Does scriptures say God made man's body in His image, or does it simply say man, because man is more than a body.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

And if you will note, it does not say that we were made in god's image, it says we were made in their image. (whoever they were). It says nothing about the body. I can bring other verses, but I feel no need to enlighten your delusion. Again, I am an atheist. I do not consider this anymore valid than any other faerie tale.

They are what I've been telling you about, the triune Godhead, that means three, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We are body, spirit, and soul, we are three just as the Godhead is three.
They are three yet one God and we are three yet one person.

As I said, scripture says God created the whole man, it says nothing about creating man's body like God.

How do you know Adam had nipples? He most likly did not have a belly button, so why should have nipples?

A female’s breast tissue is just as useless as male’s until puberty, meaning the embryonic stage is not the diverging point. This is crucial because it requires random evolutionary processes to develop the nipple before milk came along.

This here... I read it a while ago on my phone and wanted to reply properly, but forgot...
Here goes.

Oh dear, you clearly know nothing about mammalian evolution.
There are some examples of mammals which do not have nipples, but lactate. So, first you had lactation, and then, later, a clump of pores became specialized and presto, you get present day nipples.

I introduce you to the ultimate living proof of evolution:

I have nipples. I am a man, I do not lactate, yet I have nipples. This makes me the exact opposite of the female platypus. The female platypus does lactate... and does feed its young with mother’s milk... but without nipples. So how, you might ask, does the mother platypus get the milk into the mouths of her demon spawn? The same way you get sweat in your belly button, my friend... the very same way.

The milk is literally secreted through pores in the platypus' skin where it pools up along grooves in the mother's abdomen, ready to be licked up by the eager little offspring.

men today have nipples. Are you saying that men only developed nipples after Adam?
