It is the number-one problem threatening the entire world because it is destroying the environment. I'm for the death penalty and I strongly support a woman's right to choose, and think she should choose abortion if she does not want a child. What if a woman gives birth but doesn't want the baby anymore, can she strangle it to death or not? Do you think it's moral to do that? She can strangle it if she wants to, but she will be arrested for that. Yes, I think it's morally sound to do that. Although there are less painful ways to die than strangulation.

I'm trying to reconcile the two viewpoints with the reasoning you gave but it's difficult.
I don't know how many ways I can say it in - its the gender-selection part that makes it immoral not the abortion part.
But you don't object to species-selection (I.E. death for any reason)... That's what I see too.

No, that's the sanctioned murder of human life. You're OK with that yet draw the line at selecting sex?

It's more merciful.

Pretty much - if the sanction is justified - in which case it isn't murder - as you Christians love to argue.

Don't call me girl or I will follow you around this forum calling you cockface, dickhead. Your hyperbole skips right over the main issues with both topics. If you care to pull your panties out of your twat and have a grown-up conversation, I will be waiting, boy.

It can be, but I don't support it as such, nor do we, as a society, look at it that way.
Quote:You think it's fair for you to abort a foetus that your boyfriend wants to keep?
Well, must be a giant ass you pulled that one out of. I never, ever even insinuated that I would not give my boyfriend a say in the matter.
Quote:Also, why do you think abortions are ok? I assume you also support post-natal abortions.
Because a clump of cells is not yet a human being. It has potential and potential is great, but it is not human. Nice try, dinglebert. That is not an abortion.
