Homosapien and Man made in the image of God are not the same thing. As I explained in my thread Evolved man/Homosapien is Man born with out a soul. Man Made in the image of God has a soul.(That is the part of us that is made in the image of God)

The bible is conspicuously silent about there being men on earth for hundreds of millennia before Adam. Which would be kind of odd considering that Adam was said to be created within a week of the universe. For that matter, I'm pretty sure nobody has ever found a trace of the garden of Eden. Shouldn't a sentry angel with a flaming sword be hard to miss?

To be a Christian in the biblical sense is to acknoweledge that one will NEVER Be a 'good' person. (Even after he becomes a Christian.) So what does that make everyone who believe themselves to be 'good people.'

They are 'good people' apart from the establish standard of God. For they have found their own personal sense of righteousness. Or as Jesus identified this righteousness "Self Righteousness."

Again Minnie it is actual evidence. It's just not accepted evidence. Just like if you were to be convicted of being an old cogger, and you presented evidence to the contrary. What you presented can not be reclassified or dismissed as not being evidence, as the mere fact that you presented it in your arguments against the charges of being an old cogger that have been levied against you. It's just if you were found guilty, the evidence you provided was not compelling enough or was outright not accepted to support your particular case. The only thing the bible describes IS Creation from the POV of the Garden. Meaning All of what Genesis describes is what or how the world/universe unfolded from the epicenter of the Garden. So if one were given a singular perspective from with in the middle of all of the major activity that happened in the Garden then why should you think that anything outside of the garden would be mentioned, unless it could be seen from the vantage point of said garden?

Homosapien was not mention because He was not apart of the creation that happened within the borders of eden.

I studied with a man who could go one for weeks about Eden, but the long and short of it is that what is left of Eden lies under the sands of the middle east in the form of the largest accessiable oil deposit on the planet. (after all wouldn't there be like a 100 million bazillion years worth on "pre-oil" material saturating the ground thus seeding the oil fields of the Persian gulf?)

It's a metaphore, for the Heat sun and sand God parked on top of what was once Eden. Or if your a literalist. The angel and his sword took the form of the worlds largest and hottest desert and parked themselves on top of what was once eden. Thus not allowing man to set foot in it again.
