Remove any emotional attachments, and look at what is said. Fidel knows someone on his death bed who he has not witnessed, crying out to God for mercy.

I too was on my death bed, and I know when the darkness consumes you, one will cry out for mercy.

I further extended the idea that even if this man did not cry out infront of fidel, that does not mean he has not cried out thus giving fidel some hope of assureance that his Father was not automatically doomed to Hell.

How is your perception of my response any different than how I was treated after I shared my battle with a deadly virus?

You USED your father's condition as a panic stop to the conversation, and as leverage to try and dismiss everything I said. Which was based on my own observation dealing directly with death. This coupled with your response above makes you a terriable person and a hipocrite to boot.

I wasn't using my dad's condition as leverage to halt the conversation (how stupid that you would believe that something as irrelevent as an internet conversation about this topic would warrant me utilising my own grief as leverage, or that I would use said grief to try and disprove you, someone who I don't know or care about at all). I was using it as an example of my own perspective to disprove your condescending remarks about how people always cry out for god when on their death bed.

I never once mentioned anything regarding your own condition(s) or experience. Neither have I said anything disparaging about your own experiences. Not once. You can try and cite me if you feel I have.

That's just it stimmy. I carfully selected my words to be netural. It was up to the reader to assign intent. If one's heart is dark they will only see darkness. If one's heart was not dark or angry, then there was an oppertunity to ask a question and have everything clarified.

again, I do not speak from a vacuum. I was where fidel claims his dad is, and you all were all less than compassionate to my situation. (I was called a f*** liar, was told I should have died, that I should pray for AIDS again, etc.. So ask yourself why should I lead with platitudes and condolances? We are told to treat others as we want to be treated, not treat them as they want to be treated. I did not want that crap/platitudes and condolances when I was in that situation, and so I do not offer them.
