Quote:There are no sources contemporary for anyone so why do you accept people existed in antiquity except for Jesus?
But there ARE contemporary source for other figures. For example, Augustus. We have edicts that Augustus wrote. We have letters he wrote to other people. We have letters that people wrote to him. We have coins with his face and name that were minted during his lifetime.
In all of the purported 33 years of Jesus' lifetime, he isn't not ever mentioned in a single surviving source.
How much more do you need?

I'm off for sleep, savedwheat. Pray hard, and I'll let you know in the morning if my eye has grown back.

None of those edicts are contemporary. They are written hundreds of years later. Whereas the NT was completed by 70 AD except for Revelation 95 AD just a few decades later holding the highest of standards.
