What is the significance of the crocoduck? Is it a point that reptiles seem to have beget birds? Is it arguing literal Genesis Creationism?

Science only contradicts Creationism if your Creationism contradicts Science.

Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron in their wisdom argued that if transitional species exist, there must have been something like a crocodile gradually turning into a duck. A Crocoduck. I believe it was during their debate with the Rational Response Squad that the had used that image. This prompted people to use that image as a testament to the stupidity of creationists like Comfort. Hence the Crocoduck shirts, ties, etc.

Comfort and Cameron are not the only ones arguing this stupid point, so did Harun Yahya with his "if evolution is true why are there no starfish turning into regular fish intermediate species?" complete with artists impressions.
