Yes I pick on all religions.

RE: Yes I pick on all religions.
If there was anything to take in to a lab I'd be there with it. But what part of a non material entity do you drag into a lab? And where do you get the tools to handle non material objects? Answer me that and perhaps we can progress in that direction.

I don't believe for comfort. Humans had to communicate the idea for humans, sure. Did they summons it out of fresh air or did they observe it? Did they theorise? Do you dismiss equally all other non provable ideas? Do you not have a process of choosing what might be fanciful and what is likely to be true? Is there a tipping point for you with ideas that you're forced to speculate on? If so, then those are the same processes involved here. Remove the illogical swerve balls like feelings and comfort, and you have rational choices.

How can you demonstrate non material objects exist?

A bunch of bronze age goat herders had no concept of observation or theories in the scientific sense. In other words here, you're saying: did they see something they couldn't explain and so came up with their own explanation.

No, we reserve judgement, if you cannot demonstrate existence, then it is pointless believing in it.

How can you demonstrate it indeed Wolfie. To me, that would be logically impossible. Brian and yourself seem to be saying that it is possible.

Have you ever been in love Wolfie? Do you have verifiable scientific fact to prove that? Is it still true then?

Really wish theists would stop comparing God to an observable and discrete group of chemical reactions in the brain.

Wrong fatty. Love, if anything, is the comparison, not the mechanics.

The observable chemical reactions in the brain are not like God. You could feel love for God in the same way that you feel love for another person. You might be able to scientifically map the reaction. The reaction, however, is not love, or God. It's a reaction to them/ the feelings induced by thoughts of them.

So love doesn't exist aside from being a concept that humans invented? Yep fine with that, same goes for your god
