Nope. That "love" you feel is your own misfire of perception. It is not love, it is pining after an idea. Much like I thought it was "love" wanting that girl in church to date me when I was a teen.

Loving the idea of a god is what is going on. Just like Muslims love the idea of Allah existing. Much like that girl never loved me even though I thought I loved her.

Like I said, our species flawed perceptions lead us to "feel" things over mere desire and not anything real itself.

So are you going to address any of my points Brian or keep on burning your own straw man? I've had enough now of saying to you that my own belief has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with feelings. Any more pointless posts will be ignored.

NO straw man going on.

YOU not me talked about chemical reactions describing "love" and once again fail to see that others with other god claims fall for the same false positive.

Go back to the OP read it and keep re reading it until you get it. You think you are doing something unique in human history when the reality is that you are not.

I didn't say that about chemical reactions, which shows you haven't understood what I was talking about there.

I'm certainly not claiming originality. My experience is the same as most of the Christians I know.

You're still the one who champions the closed mind. To you you already know everything there is to know, and there no way you could be wrong.

You need to think I'm unique because you want to believe you're own closed ideas.

Nothing original. I agree. So if you admit you are not doing anything original, then why do you believe in a god?

You believe because you like the idea of a god, not because you have any evidence for one.

I'll let Brian address the obvious strawman

I love how theists try to adapt words to suit their own needs. "Straw man"

They cant cut through the crap and look at a simple argument like a kid does in grade school when the teacher hands them a series of pictures which asks "which of these does not belong".

Question:" Which of these does not fuel a car"

1. Gas
2.Pixy Dust
3.Allah
4.Thor
5. Yahwey
6.Jesus

Their logic works like this.

Question: "Which feels best in explaining reality"

1. God did it
2. God did it
3. God did it
4. God did it
5. God did it
6. God did it even when others contradict me.
