If two men have sex with each other, and then they were put to death for committing an abomination under the law of the Bible, would that be morally good?

Yes or no are the only valid answers

Answer no because Jesus came into the world and changed everything, when he met the adulterous woman(a crime punishable by death) he forgave her.

So the law of the Old Testament means nothing? And I'm not sure what an adulterous woman has to do with gay sex.

I think we have what we need, guys. Carm's answer, clearly, is no it would not be moral. He just won't say it out loud because he knows the moment he does it will be clear that he's just cherry picking from the bible, which strips away what little authority his bible-based beliefs have.

So does that mean it was moral to kill gay people before Jesus' time? If Jesus never came, would you be okay with killing gays? I thought god was supposed to give people perfect moral guidance, so how can it change? Seems awfully relative to me... ![]()

He couldn't even say no without scurrying into the Bible for help. Use your own fucking mind, man.

I just know in my bones that if I had treated Jesus' nonexistence as a given, the only answer I would have gotten would be "Jesus is too real!" and I'd have to spend another whole post trying to re-rail the conversation.

Ugh, it makes me shudder that he can't even use his own moral compass and has to look for flat decrees from the Bible.
