That it isn't based on verifiable evidence does not mean that Christian belief is taken on face value without scrutiny. Only that it isn't based on verifiable evidence. You have the capacity to consider the information presented, and are required to use that to form your opinions. Humanity would be severely restricted if all we could consider was what we already have proven to be true.

If faith works how every religion says it works......

Verifiable evidence has nothing to do with faith, and is a different subject : science. Actually no. Evidence is pretty much used in anything that needs support. It doesn't necessairly have to be Science. Like on trial at court, or at a debate, and lots of other things in a normal persons life. But really, why claim that you "trust" something and all of the sudden it's real? What's stopping all other Gods from being real because apparently if it works that way, then there's no reason to ignore other Gods out there in imaginatory land.
You haven't disproved my assertion superstarr. The "reality" of a God cannot be known in this case. So your qualifications don't apply. I trust something and _believe_ it to be real... different thing to having verifiable evidence of it.

Yes, you choose what to believe in, but you guys make it seem as if it's real over everything else. In fact, I don't see other religions saying things like that as much as Christianity.
I don't deny _your_ worldview superstarr. I think it a valid position if a little lacking in positivity, and therefore not so desirable to me. Same with any other faith. Where do I claim exclusivity here? I'm merely explaining my own position.
Hmm, as I remember it, the creationist movement is mainly all if not all Christian and you have heard what they are attempting. They are pretty much doing the opposite of what you're telling me. They are trying to support their faith with "evidence" and even attempt to force creationism into the public schools. No other religion is attempting to force their faith than christianity.
But anyway, how would you believe that your faith is more of right than other faiths? That's the real overall question. And saying that "it just is" wouldn't be an answer good enough.
Yes I think creationism is illogical and indefensible.
Well it has to make most sense to me for me to believe it. Same as your position has to to you. Christianity goes one step further than any other faith with the direct connection to God. Other faiths require sacrifice where in Christianity that problem is solved for you. The information is evidence.
What use does faith have if you have evidence?
