Yeah, sure. I know what you mean, the law can be an absolute bastard. It's a shame that you ever have to force parents to stop their kid from dying. It makes me angry to think of those fuck head parents at home, making excuses for why God is still all loving even though he gave their kid a fatal disease. Some people have a pretty low bar for "love".
"Oh well, it's part of god's plan." No it isn't. It was your plan to refuse treatment because you are a terrible parent, putting superstition ahead of your child's life. The very worst thing is that this is what happens when you take Christianity seriously instead of just playing at it like most people do.

exactly and even if suicide is a sin its forgivable like every other sin in the bible. so if there is a heaven you can just repent your sin to jesus and well go into heaven.

Our objection isn't that her wants weren't being met. Our objection is that an eleven year-old child is allowed to make life and death decisions with her parents' ignorant blessing.

One they do not give out cancer surviablity rates out like that. they plot them over a period of time with a reoccourance ratio. Like a 90% survivablity rate of 5 years with a 10% liklyhood of reoccourance. Those should have been the numbers she was given with acute lymphoblastic leukemia if she is under 15 and it is not bad. Because she was given a 75% (the rate of survivablity 50 years ago) chance it means the author of that slanted story wanted to omit she had a very high chance of getting it again when she was older which meant a lot more pain and a lot less surviveablity rate/ratio.
