You do realize our personal beliefs enter in to every compartment of our lives.
See the response the story got right here?
Now picture one of these guys who are vehemently atheist, as being a reporter or on the Associated Press team,
relaying all the news they deem fit for you.
Get the picture?
For an atheist to believe the testimony of the (to be) rescuers, they have a choice:
A)Make up some nonsense.
B) Admit some supernatural element is involved- and embark on a long slippery slope leading to the negation of Naturalism which is the entire foundation of Atheism.
I wasn't very clear, I think. What I meant was that a news organization has no reason to keep this story secret because it plays into what the readers already want to be true.

That is not the way emergency-scene operations work. When fire/rescue rolls up onto a scene, it is considered an active rescue scene until it is ascertained that all victims are rescued or deceased.
Fire/rescue does not assume a victimless accident. They clear an accident scene by rescuing the living, and locating the dead. And only then do operations evolve from search-and-rescue to recovery.

Watch the story dummy stop spouting from your fuelie Fire management hand book. Only the mother could be seen when the car was upside down and it was very appearent she was dead. Once they saw that it was a salvage operation. Then they heard a voice and the proceeded to roll the car on its side. When the did they were horrified to find they had submerged a live baby. If the had known their was a child they would have rolled it the other way, and not submerged the baby.
Calling you names does make me feel some what superior to you.. Hmmm maybe I should do that more often, as you all do to me when you think you have me cornered, like you just did... Too bad you didn't have your facts straight. But, only if there was a way to check your facts before you spoke and looked foolish...
Like watch some sort of video or record of the events I was directly speaking of...

I honestly think Carl is the smartest one In That group. It's almost like Ricky is having a spot of fun with the douch baggers that would normally identify with him, kinda Andy Koffman style.

What I get is that you're assuming the reporter to be atheist based on no evidence, just the convenience of getting to believe what you already want to be true, which is that your poor ickle religion, shared as it is by the majority of the country, is being persecuted and silenced.

One wonders whether you'd be accept the supernatural element involved if the testimony made it clear that the supernatural element belonged to a religion that you don't agree with... more likely you'd miraculously be able to see the dishonest false dichotomy you've made here, and wouldn't be calling whatever dismissals you make "nonsense."
Because it's only nonsense when people disagree with your religion, isn't it?

So you're seriously telling us that you think that if the rescue teams see no visible possibility of rescue, they just assume there isn't one... and then moments later give a perfect example of exactly why they wouldn't do that?
Hey, that must be why nobody bothers to look for survivors at building collapses like 9/11!

I think Min hit on a key point here Drich. Regardless whether or not this alleged "miracle" was real doesn't say anything for your angry god, your silly church or your ridiculous beliefs. Whats to keep the local muslims from giving credit to Allah for this precious miracle?? Just the word of a christard with a worn out agenda??
Bored.

What did this angel do again? Try and partially fix a huge problem that his boss could have averted in the first place without flexing a muscle?
It's funny how the scenario is always described just as in a godless world, then suddenly God comes to the "rescue". Nodded off again did he?
